
EFR TRAINING, FIRST AID: PRIMARY AND SECONDARY CARE
at Koh Kood Divers
Emergency First Response (EFR) is the certifying organization for our Primary, Secondary Care and Emergency Oxygen Administration course.
You will learn how to react when faced with emergency situations. Primary care (CPR and Rescue Breathing) and secondary care (First Aid) is very reassuring and valuable not only for diving but also for our daily life. This course will teach you how to respond to emergency situations in both adults and children.
As a diver, EFR training is one of the prerequisites for ssi Rescue Diver
course and ssi Dive Master course.
You will learn the basic steps and actions of a first point of contact:
Risk assessment and removal of foreign bodies
damage assessment
Breath rescue and CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation)
bleeding management
Response to choking victims
shock management
Bandaging and application of splints
